1. Start Early

It’s never too early to start a program of regular reading and spelling. A young child’s brain is like a sponge, so you can teach her the basics and lay the foundation for learning later on.

Children who don’t have this early exposure often have trouble reading and spelling later on.

Before school day starts, children should start reading simple books with only 50 words per page. Reading together is a great way to get kids to enjoy reading.

2. Get Your Child Excited About Learning

If your child is a convergent thinker, it will be easier for him to succeed in school if you encourage him to read a lot of books.
