How to take your employee training & development online

Why businesses need to move their training and development online

Businesses today are trying to find ways to keep their employees engaged. As an employer, you want your employees to feel like they are a part of the company.

You want them to feel that they are valued. Training and development is an important part of keeping your employees engaged.

Training helps them learn more about the business and how they can be more productive in their jobs. The problem is that traditional training is time-consuming and expensive.

Businesses today have been looking for a way to do employee training online for years now. With technology constantly changing, it has become easier than ever before to do employee training online in 2018.

Nowadays, there are many different ways you can take your employee training online without having to hire a large team of experts or spend thousands of dollars on live workshops and conferences. Taking your employee training online allows you to focus on what matters most – the quality of the information being shared with your employees rather than how it’s being shared with them.

This is why it’s important for businesses today to take their employee training online instead of doing it in person or through traditional methods like DVDs or books (which may seem outdated now). The employee training process can be difficult to understand at first.

This is why it’s important to have an employee training strategy in place before you begin to train your employees. Here are some tips for creating an effective employee training strategy

1. Set up a timeline for the employee training process

You should set up a timeline for your employee training process so that you know when you want to complete each phase of the process. You should start by setting up a timeline for onboarding new employees.

Once you have your new employees on board, it’s time to start thinking about the next step in the employee training process – creating content for your employees.

2. Set up a calendar for creating content

When it comes to creating content, you need to make sure that it’s engaging and valuable. You want to make sure that your employees will actually want to take the time out of their day to watch or read your content (otherwise they may skip over it).

If you don’t already have a calendar set up, I recommend using Google Calendar or Outlook Calendar because they are both free and easy-to-use platforms that will help keep everything organized. I also recommend setting up a calendar for when you want to share your content with your employees.

3. Keep track of employee training results

It’s important to keep track of how well your employee training is working. If you don’t have a way to measure the results of your employee training, you won’t know if it’s effective or not.

I recommend using Google Analytics or another similar platform to help keep track of the results of your employee training so that you can see how much time employees are spending on the content and how many people are actually watching it. You can also use this information to make adjustments in the future if necessary.

4. Track attendance for each employee training session

Another important part of taking your employee training online is tracking attendance for each session. You want to make sure that all of your employees are taking advantage of the training opportunities that you provide them with, and that means keeping track of who is attending each session (or not).

This will help ensure that all employees are getting their fair share of the content, regardless of whether they work full-time or part-time, or have more flexible schedules than others.
