5 Breakthrough Technology Trends Every Classroom Must Have

Technology trends in education are an exciting time for teachers and students alike. As new tech becomes available, it’s up to us to figure out how to best use it in the classroom.

The most innovative tech in education can enhance learning experiences and better prepare students for the future. We want to take a look at the latest trends that are having a positive impact on classrooms around the world.

1. Google Classroom

Google Classroom is a fantastic way to keep track of your class’s assignments, grades, and communication. This tool allows you to upload assignments, give feedback, and communicate with your students through an easy-to-use interface. It even provides you with grade reports at the end of each semester!

2. Amazon Echo Dot

The Amazon Echo Dot is a hands-free device that allows you to control your home. These automation devices through voice commands (i.e., “Alexa, turn on my lights”). It is useful as a wireless speaker for listening to music or making calls using Alexa’s built-in microphone and speaker system.

You can also add third-party “skills” for enhanced functionality such as listening to audiobooks or ordering pizza through your Echo Dot!

3. Aligned Standards Toolkit

The Aligned Standards Toolkit is another helpful Google resource. That allows teachers to access Common Core Standards across multiple subjects from one source: http://www.googleedu.com/alignedstandards/.

With this toolkit, teachers can get access to grade-level standards for different subjects and compare them side by side using charts or graphs in one central location!

This toolkit makes it easy for teachers to stay up-to-date on which standards their students are currently working on. So they can create engaging lessons that relate directly back to their studies in class!

Using this toolkit, teachers can easily identify gaps in their students’ knowledge and see which standards. That they need to focus on more during their lessons.

This allows teachers to give feedback on student work in real time or send assignments directly to their students’ inboxes. This tool also has features like chat, hangouts, and Drive collaboration that allow students to collaborate with one another and work together as a team!

5. VR Headset

VR headsets are quickly becoming an essential part of modern classrooms across the country. As virtual reality becomes more affordable and available, educators are using it. To immerse students in experiences they may not otherwise have access to.
