According to Dr. Hung of the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences, University of Wisconsin, the best method to take care of your children's eyes is to have them examined by an eye doctor regularly.

Children should receive a comprehensive eye examination at least once every year. The visual examination should be performed by an ophthalmologist or optometrist who is experienced in examining young children.
