We compared Canteen Food prices across Asia

You might have seen our article about how much you could save if you lived in Japan, but we’ve also done some research on how much cheaper food is in other countries around Asia. We took a look at the prices of 4 basic meals from some of the most popular restaurants and food chains across Asia.

Philippines

The Philippines is one of the cheapest countries for Canteen Food prices, with an average meal costing just $3.98. That’s still more expensive than Malaysia though!

Malaysia

A meal in Malaysia will cost you an average of $3.49, the cheapest of all the countries we researched.

Thailand

Thailand is the most expensive country for Canteen Food prices, with an average meal costing $4.99.
